ActiveDocs creates efficiency, reduces template maintenance at Finnish Centre for Pensions

The Finnish Centre for Pensions (Eläketurvakeskus), a government body responsible for earnings-related pension provision, needed to produce large volumes of compliant, accurate pension documents more efficiently and with lower template maintenance costs. To address this, they evaluated and selected ActiveDocs, deploying ActiveDocs Document Automation and Template Management integrated with their portal and document management systems.

ActiveDocs implemented a browser-based Document Wizard with direct integration to ETK’s data sources and eDocs DMS, plus Template Management using Snippets, Data Views and a Rules engine and permissions/version control. The ActiveDocs solution reduced templates in one business area from 400 to 10 (a 97.5% reduction), streamlined maintenance, improved compliance and accuracy, and lowered downstream costs while producing standard Word documents and reusable answer data.
