A ActiveCollab Case Study

Preview of the FashionPass Case Study

Dressed to Impress Thanks to ActiveCollab

FashionPass is a designer clothing rental service on a mission to give women access to an ever-changing wardrobe. Facing the challenge of coordinating a distributed development team and scaling their customer‑facing website plus two inventory management systems, FashionPass moved from ad‑hoc Google Docs to ActiveCollab to manage tasks, assignments, comments, images and priorities across developers, QAs and managers.

Using ActiveCollab, FashionPass implemented a Scrum‑driven workflow where the Scrum Master assigns prioritized tasks to individual developers, tracks status changes and searches historical discussions and files. ActiveCollab improved remote collaboration, made task history fully searchable, and accelerated development — FashionPass reports development progress is 75% faster and bugs are found and fixed significantly quicker — enabling the company to scale more effectively.
