Rotary Club Gets Maximum Mileage from Active’s Race Management Software

Gator Run, a 5K/10K and Kid’s Fun Run organized by the Simi Sunset Rotary Club, needed a way to manage race registration, sponsorships, marketing, and participant data for its growing community event. With more than 550 runners in the first year, the team turned to ACTIVE Network’s race registration and race management software to help make the event easier to run and more professional from the start.

ACTIVE Network implemented user-friendly race management tools including online registration, customized reports, built-in email and list segmentation, broadcast emails, Spotlight Ads, and free support. The results were strong: Gator Run grew to 1,153 runners, improved event marketing and organization, and raised funds for Special Olympics and other causes, while giving organizers a simple way to track a large amount of race data.
