South Wall Little League, an all-volunteer nonprofit, needed a new registration system because its previous one lacked key functionality and required heavy manual work for board members, volunteers, and team assignments. The league chose ACTIVE Network’s sports management software to make online registration easier for parents and more efficient for staff, while also improving reporting and fee tracking.
ACTIVE Network implemented the system in about three weeks and tailored it to support the league’s special shack bond volunteer requirements, sponsorship collection, and broadcast email communications. The results were significant: registration is now available 24/7, the league no longer manually enters 400–450 registrations, and board members save about 50% of their time, including the volunteer coordinator and player agent.
