Case Study: Pro Ambitions Hockey achieves streamlined operations and targeted communication with ACTIVE Camps

A ACTIVE Camps Case Study

Preview of the Pro Ambitions Hockey Case Study

Tending the Goal Supporting youth with a well-run hockey program

Pro Ambitions Hockey, founded in 1994 by former NHL player Jeff Serowik and based near Boston, runs year-round boys’ and girls’ hockey camps across North America—about 5,000 campers at 300 day and residential sessions in more than 130 rinks. As the organization grew into the largest hockey school operation in the world, its outdated custom registration system prior to 2004 could no longer support the communication, rostering and financial needs of the business.

Pro Ambitions implemented ACTIVEWorks | Camp & Class Manager to manage operations, using targeted email tools with contact filters and robust reporting for rosters, payment status, transaction history and seasonal financials. The switch delivered “night and day” improvements in efficiency and communication, and founder Jeff Serowik says the platform is essential to running the size of company they operate today.
