Coach's perfume launch reaches a sweet-smelling 2.3m people with a dynamic influencer campaign

Coach partnered with ACTIVATE to build excitement for its youth‑focused fragrance, Coach Dreams Sunset, and to engage female-identifying consumers aged 18–34 in key U.S. urban markets. Facing the challenge of sourcing many influencers across tiers and cities to generate authentic user‑generated content, ACTIVATE deployed a managed influencer program combining paid partnerships and seeding to put the perfume directly into creators’ hands.

ACTIVATE vetted 428 applications and activated 56 influencers (16 paid and 40 seeds) across seven cities, generating 211 pieces of UGC and reaching more than 2.3 million people. The campaign delivered strong engagement (4.5% for seeds, 3.7% for paid), an 83% posting rate among seeds (vs. a 65% benchmark), and an audience that was 80% aged 18–34, demonstrating measurable uplift in reach and youth relevance for Coach.
