Amplifying big content from smaller partners, Activate Studio delivers 2X target impressions for Vivino

Vivino, the world’s largest online wine marketplace, needed fun, approachable creator content to educate a broad range of wine consumers and drive app use and website conversions without overspending on mega‑status partners. To meet those goals, Vivino partnered with ACTIVATE (Activate Studio) to build an influencer program that would showcase app features like the taste profile, wine scanner, and personalized recommendations while keeping the brand relatable and accessible.

ACTIVATE implemented a mix of micro‑ and mid‑tier influencers (adding 10 diverse new voices), a three‑pronged casting strategy, negotiated content usage rights, and commissioned video tutorials and eye‑catching imagery for paid amplification. The campaign generated 1.36M impressions, 11k+ clicks and 50.3k engagements, doubled performance against targets while staying within CPM goals, and exceeded contracted results by 684k extra impressions and 31k extra engagements; top performers were re‑engaged for a follow‑up holiday campaign.
