Octavis Infrastructure, a construction company, sought to upskill its team of quantity surveyors and buyers to enhance procurement practices and demonstrate greater value through its supply chain. They partnered with vendor Action Sustainability to utilize its Supply Chain Improvement Programme, a series of procurement workshops.

Action Sustainability began by having participants complete a self-assessment to identify knowledge gaps. They then delivered five tailored workshops on topics like supplier relationship management and collaborative procurement. The result was a significant shift in the team's understanding, leading to the creation of a new stage-gateway procurement process and the incorporation of learned strategies into a revised supplier management plan, fundamentally improving their approach to procurement.
