ENGIE UK & Ireland Enhances Procurement Sustainability through BS 8903 Reassessment

ENGIE UK & Ireland, formerly known as Cofely UK, sought to enhance its sustainability programme and benchmark its procurement practices against best practices during its corporate rebranding. To address this challenge, the company commissioned Action Sustainability to perform a reassessment of its procurement activities using the BS 8903:2010 standard.

Action Sustainability implemented a comprehensive assessment against the BS 8903 framework, which included a desktop review, on-site visits, and a detailed report. The results provided ENGIE UK & Ireland with objective recommendations for embedding sustainable procurement, a benchmark for future measurement, a framework for staff development, and a third-party validation of its competence to demonstrate to clients.
