A Action Global Communications Case Study
Action Global Communications was engaged by ADEK, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, to address a significant challenge. Following two academic years disrupted by Covid-19, approximately 25% of parents were reluctant to send their children back to in-person learning. ADEK needed a campaign to raise awareness of its revised safe reopening policies and to encourage higher vaccination rates among students.
The solution from Action Global Communications involved leveraging a parent survey to shape a communications strategy focused on winning trust and promoting vaccine uptake. The results were highly successful, generating 522 media pieces from only 6 content assets and facilitating over 1,800 vaccinations at a pop-up center, which led to the creation of three permanent student vaccination centers. The campaign, achieved with zero paid media, also won two gold MEPRA awards and a PR Week Global Award.
