Djurs Sommerland, an amusement park in Denmark, faced the challenge of creating a more connected and inclusive workplace for its 700+ seasonal employees. To achieve this, they partnered with the vendor Actimo to implement a branded employee engagement app.
Actimo provided a centralized employee app that became the park's primary internal communication channel. The solution streamlined information sharing, replaced printed manuals, and fostered a sense of togetherness through social features and recognition posts. The results were immediate and significant: 98% of employees were active on the Actimo app within 14 days of launch, and 100% had adopted it just four months later. The park also began using the app for on-the-go training, further enhancing employee engagement and operational efficiency.
