ctian and NETinfo Form Partnership to Bank On

NETinfo, an ISO9001 software vendor serving financial institutions worldwide, needed a cost-effective, fully customizable multi-channel e‑banking platform that met demanding requirements for scalability, 24x7 availability, security, multi-jurisdiction support, single sign-on and multi-signature workflows. Their NETteller solution originally relied on Oracle, which drove high upfront and ongoing licensing costs, while alternatives like MySQL lacked enterprise features such as online backup, point‑in‑time restore and robust auditing.

NETinfo partnered with Actian to build NETteller on the Actian Ingres Database with JBoss as the application server and the option to add the Ingres Icebreaker BI appliance. The new stack delivered faster deployments, strong availability and security, and greater flexibility for integrations, helping customers cut initial costs by around 20% and reduce total cost of ownership by approximately 25%, while providing reliable, supported, high‑performance e‑banking.
