The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) needed a highly reliable, always-on system to deliver critical case records and public tips worldwide, support multiple web applications and languages, and enable secure collaboration with partners and law enforcement. Time-sensitive investigations required maximum availability and scalability to ensure information reached the right people without downtime.
NCMEC implemented Actian Ingres Database with Ingres Premium Service to power internal case management, public sites (MissingKids.com, CyberTipLine.com), a 24x7 call center, and international partner portals. The solution provides multi-language support, uninterrupted availability with round-the-clock expert support, and has helped coordinate efforts that contributed to nearly 99,500 recoveries while handling millions of daily site hits.
