Actian and Numsight signed a strategic partnership to deliver high-speed, cost-effective analytics for large retail customer databases. Numsight, a French marketing consultancy and database host for major retailers, needed a more powerful and affordable analytics engine to handle billions of rows and terabytes of customer data after ending its previous vendor relationship.
Numsight selected Actian’s Vectorwise after benchmark testing showed equivalent performance to rivals while using just one-eighth of the processing power and offering the best cost-efficiency. The bundled solution combines Vectorwise’s vector-based processing and Actian’s support with Numsight’s analytics software, enabling faster insights at lower project costs and simplifying large-scale retail analytics deployment.
