Bayer Technology Services, supporting Bayer CropScience, needed a standardized way to automate data collection across warehouses and plants. The company was dealing with manual, paper-based processes, multiple device types, and a tight SAP go-live timeline, and selected Acsis and its DataPass (now xDDI) solution for its SAP integration and flexible data collection capabilities.

Acsis implemented a paperless, real-time barcode scanning solution that handled specification, implementation, testing, training, and go-live support across more than 200 devices. The result was faster order-to-ship cycles, higher productivity, improved inventory accuracy, fewer physical inventory checks, and dramatically lower error rates; Bayer CropScience also reported a 28% increase in gross cash flow in the year the solution went live.
