Generosity in a Virtual World Creating Giving Campaigns that Encourage Automation

Impact Church, a growing multi-site church in Jacksonville with ministries in the U.S., India, and Peru, wanted to strengthen generosity and encourage consistent giving among a mostly younger congregation. With ACS Technologies and its Realm platform, church leaders looked for a better way to communicate the importance of recurring gifts and integrate giving messages into the church’s overall calendar.

ACS Technologies helped Impact Church launch a twice-yearly campaign called “Automate the Important,” supported by leadership messages, social media, email, printed materials, and in-person help in the lobby. The result was a major shift toward online and automated giving: 90% of Impact Church giving is now online, recurring gifts continue to rise through Realm, and finance leaders can forecast cash flow and budgets with much greater accuracy.
