Church Streamlines Fundraising Efforts

Newman Catholic Community in Chapel Hill, NC, serves both as a parish and a student ministry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and its staff needed a simpler way to manage fundraising for a large and active community. Their older software could not keep up with over 1,000 members, groups, events, and ongoing fundraising needs.

ACS Technologies provided Realm, including its Giving feature and eGiving capabilities, to help streamline fundraising and financial tracking. The solution let students record funds and track campaign progress, while parishioners could view and edit their own financial information, reducing administrative work and making records easier to manage. As a result, Newman Catholic Community was able to centralize financial data, lighten the staff’s load, and focus more energy on ministry.
