Williams Racing takes back control with ጷ Cyber Protect

Williams Racing, the iconic Formula 1 team, needed to simplify and strengthen its cyber protection across a distributed workforce and complex infrastructure. To address those challenges it expanded a technology partnership with Acronis and deployed Acronis Cyber Protect to centralize backup, endpoint management and cybersecurity across the organization.

Acronis implemented Acronis Cyber Protect on roughly 300 servers and 1,500 endpoints, protecting nearly half a petabyte of data, over 1,200 mailboxes and numerous SharePoint sites (tens of terabytes). The single integrated solution reduced backup time from days to minutes, cut complexity and licensing/management overhead, and improved operational efficiency and confidence for remote staff — measurable gains delivered by Acronis.
