Williams Racing adds new layers of protection with Acronis Cyber Protect

Williams Group, the iconic Formula One team, needed to expand cyber protection across Microsoft 365 mailboxes and SharePoint sites, secure a dispersed workforce and workloads, and reduce IT management complexity. To meet those challenges they extended their technology partnership with Acronis, building on Acronis Cyber Backup and adopting Acronis Cyber Protect to centralize and modernize their data protection and cybersecurity stack.

Acronis deployed its integrated protection across Williams Group’s environment—Acronis Cyber Backup is installed on roughly 300 servers and 1,500 endpoints protecting nearly half a petabyte, and the Microsoft 365 backup now covers over 1,200 mailboxes and SharePoint sites (about 15 TB). The result: backups that went from days to minutes, centralized SLAs and scheduled backups, faster patch rollouts, continuous data protection for key apps, and added layers of security (antimalware, URL filtering and vulnerability assessments) that give remote staff confidence to create sensitive data—benefits delivered by Acronis.
