Toyota Motor Manufacturing France drives productivity with easy-to-use Acronis Cyber Protect 15

Toyota Motor Company’s French plant, Toyota Motor Manufacturing France (TMMF), needed to protect production of Yaris and Yaris Cross vehicles across 80+ workstations from rising ransomware threats. Although TMMF had used Acronis previously, their legacy Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 and other siloed tools lacked integrated defense and ease of use, so they sought a single-console solution combining backup, anti-malware and anti-ransomware protection.

Acronis implemented Acronis Cyber Protect 15, delivering centralized backup for physical and virtual machines, continuous data protection (CDP), and Active Protection for anti-malware and anti-ransomware defense. The rapid rollout—aligned with the NIST framework—secured 80+ PCs, prevented unauthorized backup activity linked to ransomware, simplified verification and restore processes, and improved uptime and productivity to help accelerate vehicle production.
