Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited, an Indian-based subsidiary of Tata Group, was facing significant challenges with an antiquated, manual backup process. This approach resulted in very long recovery time and recovery point objectives (RTO and RPO) and a heavy dependence on employee compliance, which was exacerbated by the shift to remote work. The company sought a complete, automated backup solution from Acronis.

The results were a 50x increase in protected workloads, from approximately 10-20 to 500 daily.
