Novatrend, a Swiss web hosting provider, faced the need to prevent costly data loss, maintain short backup windows, support cPanel environments, and keep customers online 24/7—requirements amplified by increased remote work. To address these challenges, Novatrend selected Acronis and its Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud solution.

Acronis deployed Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud with six Acronis Cyber Infrastructure nodes to centrally manage backups, enable fast restores (including a cPanel self-service plugin), and support restores to similar or dissimilar hardware. The rollout was fast and straightforward; the solution now protects nearly 400 TB across about 150 cPanel servers, has permanently reduced Novatrend’s support workload, and enables rapid recovery even after complete server failures.
