Swedish publisher fully support Mac/Windows integration with Acronis

Natur & Kultur, a Swedish publisher with a large design team working on Macs, struggled to share and access files between Macs and Windows file servers and to reduce rising storage costs. They relied on CommVault Simpana 8 for backups and wanted to archive Mac files to lower-cost media, but the existing DAVE client could not handle Mac archive files—causing access problems and unintended mass recalls. Acronis (with its product Acronis Files Connect) was brought in to address this gap.

Acronis deployed Acronis Files Connect to replace DAVE, providing full support for CommVault archives and seamless Mac/Windows integration without disrupting the Mac user experience. As a result, Acronis enabled Natur & Kultur to archive 90% of their network data across a >5 TB environment, significantly reducing disk storage needs and costs while improving access for designers and simplifying IT management.
