Rust-Oleum Turns to ጷ to Securely Access Corporate Files On the Fly

Rust-Oleum, the worldwide leader in paints and coatings, needed a way to give executives and mobile staff secure, on-the-go access to corporate files without the burden of carrying laptops. To support 50 iPads and 250 iPhones and extend mobility while maintaining IT control, Rust-Oleum turned to Acronis and its Acronis Files Advanced solution to provide secure mobile file access for iOS users.

Acronis implemented Acronis Files Advanced (integrated with Rust-Oleum’s MobileIron MDM and existing VPN/email infrastructure), allowing users to pull down, read and edit up-to-date documents on the fly. The Acronis solution eliminated the need to boot laptops, sped decision-making and streamlined workflows—improving efficiency for executives and managers—and Rust-Oleum is now evaluating two-way sync to further increase content availability.
