RTT Intelligent Logistics meets customers’ complex RTO demands with Acronis Backup

RTT Intelligent Logistics, a South African logistics provider serving 850 brands and moving 90,000 parcels across 42 facilities, needed to protect and quickly recover critical big-data assets across a heterogeneous environment (RHEV and Hyper‑V, physical Windows/Linux servers, SQL and Exchange) to meet complex RTO demands. To secure accessible, fast recoverability of Exchange, Oracle and virtual workloads, RTT selected Acronis and deployed Acronis Backup Advanced (for Hyper‑V, Microsoft Exchange and RHEV).

Acronis implemented a cross‑platform backup and recovery solution delivering full‑image and application‑level backups to disk and tape, seamless integration with RTT’s Hyper‑V cluster and Exchange 2013 archives, and RHEV↔Hyper‑V migration/restore for redundancy. The Acronis deployment minimized risk to business‑critical servers and data loss, reduced backup times and costs, improved infrastructure efficiency and ensured minimal downtime and dependable business continuity for RTT Intelligent Logistics.
