NIFCLOUD Offers Increased Cloud Storage Choices with Acronis Backup Cloud

NIFCLOUD, Fujitsu Cloud Technologies’ VMware-based public cloud service, needed more flexible, enterprise-grade backups—its capabilities were limited to VM instance snapshots and lacked cloud storage options—while maintaining minimal infrastructure impact and meeting a 99.99% monthly uptime SLA. To address this, NIFCLOUD selected Acronis and its Acronis Backup Cloud solution as a core service offering.

Acronis deployed Acronis Backup Cloud with agent-based backups, P2V migration support and two storage plans (location‑free and Acronis Cloud), enabling low-load, web-console-managed backups and multiple destination choices. The Acronis solution reduced infrastructure load, enabled smooth VMware migrations, differentiated NIFCLOUD’s service, and helped drive a 20% increase in NIFCLOUD users.
