IONOS, a leading European digitalization partner for SMEs, sought a security partner when entering the cloud business. Their challenge was meeting the high demands for backup speed required by their web and software development customers during agile development cycles. They partnered with Acronis to address this need.

The solution implemented was the Acronis backup service, offered as a fully integrated solution within the IONOS Cloud. This allows customers to create backups directly in the IONOS data center. Acronis provided the necessary speed and security for IONOS customers. As a result, IONOS is now working to integrate additional services from the Acronis security portfolio into their cloud interface long-term.
