i3-Software & Services Modernizes Backup Within Louisiana Government Offices with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud

i3-Software & Services (S&S), a Louisiana-based MSP serving municipal and state agencies, needed to modernize backup processes away from tape, lower operational costs, and add robust endpoint protection for remote workers during the COVID-19 shift to home offices. To meet these requirements they evaluated and deployed Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for an easy-to-use, reliable, and secure integrated backup and cybersecurity platform.

Acronis delivered a single-platform solution combining backup, anti-ransomware, threat feeds, scan-before-restore, predictive drive-failure detection, and endpoint management, enabling S&S to move clients from tape to online backups. The deployment now protects 142 workstations, 42 physical servers and 12 VMs, and 49 TB of data (22 TB in the cloud, 27 TB on premises), improved RTOs, added cybersecurity capabilities, and created new revenue opportunities (including plans to replace other AV vendors and evaluate replacing LogMeIn) — outcomes S&S credits to Acronis.
