HomeBuys Gets “The Best for Less” with Acronis Cyber Protect 15

HomeBuys, a discount retailer with six Ohio locations and one in Kentucky, needed to simplify IT and protect more than 1.5 TB of historical data across stores, a distribution center, and corporate office while relying on multiple point solutions (Unitrends, iDrive, LogMeIn, Windows Defender, McAfee). Interested in consolidating backup, antimalware, remote desktop, and patch management into a single platform, HomeBuys evaluated Acronis and joined the beta for Acronis Cyber Protect to address those challenges.

Acronis delivered Acronis Cyber Protect as an integrated backup-plus-cybersecurity solution that proved easy to install and use, protecting 1.5 TB across 30 workstations and four servers while combining backup/restore, antimalware, patch management, vulnerability assessment, and remote desktop in one console. By consolidating three separate IT tools, Acronis enabled HomeBuys to reduce complexity and licensing overhead, speed onboarding and daily operations, and achieve measurable operational and financial efficiencies—making it likely the retailer will adopt Acronis widely.
