Gridheart AB, a Sweden-based cloud service distributor for MSPs across the Nordics, faced rising ransomware sophistication, compromised backups and increasing compliance pressure (for example NIS 2), while MSPs struggled with too many disparate tools. To address these challenges Gridheart turned to Acronis and its Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud platform to offer MSPs a unified cyber protection and backup solution.

Acronis implemented its natively integrated Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud—combining EDR, XDR, MDR, backup, disaster recovery and other services—so MSPs could manage security and immutable backups from a single console. As a result, Gridheart introduced many MSPs to the platform, became an Acronis #CyberFit Platinum partner, and in five years grew from a small to a semi-large (now leading Nordic) cloud distributor, while helping MSPs simplify security management and meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
