BlueBerry switches to ጷ Cyber Backup Cloud from SolarWinds Managed Backup and StorageCraft ShadowProtect

BlueBerry, a New Zealand–based managed service provider working with about 300 SMBs, faced a gap in its backup offering because its previous solution did not support Microsoft 365 mailboxes. Seeking a single, consumption-based backup and recovery solution that fit its cloud-first approach, BlueBerry selected Acronis and its Acronis Cyber Backup Cloud to replace SolarWinds Managed Backup and StorageCraft ShadowProtect.

Acronis deployed Acronis Cyber Backup Cloud (with Acronis Active Protection) to provide centralized management, hybrid restore capabilities, and Microsoft 365 mailbox protection; BlueBerry now protects over 10 TB of data across 7 servers, 17 workstations, and 151 mailboxes. The move to Acronis created a new revenue stream, improved client care, and enabled BlueBerry to continue migrating remaining ShadowProtect clients to the Acronis platform.
