BAE Systems, the global defense, security and aerospace company, needed a fast, secure way to deploy and rebuild more than 1,000 identical workstations that support its Eurofighter Typhoon maintenance systems. Acronis delivered image‑based deployment so BAE can create a single master image and deploy it locally (CD/USB or network), with rollback and rapid-recovery options for business continuity. Using Acronis, workstation build time dropped from over six hours to under ten minutes (about 30× faster), allowing a 200‑workstation base to be deployed in less than two days instead of over a month; the solution is now used on ~1,000 workstations across 11 bases with plans to expand.
