Fiducia IT AG, one of the largest IT service providers for the German banking sector, faced inconsistent terminology and time-consuming language research across departments that weakened its customer communications. To standardize language and reduce author effort, Fiducia selected Acrolinx and its content optimization software for company-wide language checking and terminology management.
Acrolinx implemented a centralized terminology database integrated into Fiducia’s intranet and authoring tools and rolled out checks to all workstations and document types. The solution supports 1,880 registered users, more than 6,700 terms in the glossary, and over 1,000 daily checks; regular surveys report clearer, more consistent content that is easier and cheaper to translate and requires less ad hoc terminology research.
