Villa Vicenza HOA Works with Local Integrator to Install Cloud-based ACT365

Villa Vicenza, an Italian-style condominium complex in San Diego with mixed homeowners and renters, needed to replace an unreliable lock-and-key system and adopt a cloud-based solution that didn’t require a dedicated PC and would survive frequent management changes. The HOA engaged vendor acre security to deploy ACT365 as the cloud access-control platform to deliver remote, browser- and app-based management and automatic updates.

acre security implemented ACT365 across the site (covering roughly 25–30 doors including common areas, elevators and garage entrances), integrating with existing card readers to avoid costly hardware upgrades. The cloud system lets managers and the integrator remotely update permissions, open doors, monitor hardware health and troubleshoot from anywhere—reducing on-site service visits, enabling instant access changes when tenants turnover, and allowing seamless handoff between management companies (in many cases requiring only a login).
