A acre security Case Study
East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EMAS), with over 2,500 staff across 70 premises in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire, needed a way for employees to access multiple stations and secure areas (drug stores, key safes) without compromising security. acre security was brought in to provide an Entro 5 entry control solution using proximity readers and passive encoded key‑ring tags.
acre security implemented networked door controllers, proximity readers and lightweight passive tags carried by all EMAS staff, enabling fast contactless entry, immediate revocation of lost or retained tags, and centralized logging of every door open/close with precise timestamps. The system now controls entrances, drug stores and key safes across all 70 sites for 2,500 users, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access and providing auditable, real‑time access records.
