George’s Quay Gets Vanderbilt Treatment

Electro Automation, acting as installer for the George’s Quay development in Dublin, faced the challenge of delivering an access control solution that could reliably handle more than 5,000 regular users and 200 access points while remaining flexible and user-friendly for operators and visitors. They engaged vendor acre security and specified contactless, high-throughput hardware and software to meet these demands.

acre security implemented a system using 200 Vanderbilt PR100 readers (plus several long-range readers), Cotag active cards for hands-free access, and Vanderbilt’s Granta software to centrally manage 5,000+ cardholders and a parking quota system. The solution delivered rapid, flexible control and seamless user experience, successfully managing traffic across 200 access points and improving parking allocation and access efficiency for the site.
