HFCL, acting as the installer for Mauritius’s new Metro Express light-rail project, needed a modern access control system to protect stations and infrastructure across the brand‑new network. They selected acre security’s Vanderbilt ACT access control solution, configuring ACT Enterprise server V2.8.0.46 to meet the Metro Express project’s access, video integration and intrusion‑detection requirements.

acre security implemented the Vanderbilt ACT platform across the system, using features such as smartphone credentialing, rules mapping, video integration and SPC intrusion integration, along with plug‑and‑play device detection and simple IP/RS485 door wiring. The solution was installed successfully, met all client requirements, and delivered a customizable, reliable access control system that is now operating smoothly to secure the Metro Express.
