ACT Gets the Right Verdict at Prominent Barristers

4 New Square, a set of chambers for prominent barristers next to the Old Bailey, needed to replace its traditional key-based locks with a centrally controlled, card-based access control system. acre security delivered the upgrade, deploying ACT proximity DESFire EV1 readers, ACTpro 4000 door controllers and ACT Enterprise management software to provide a modern, card-based access solution.

acre security installed flush- or surface-mounted DESFire readers and ACTpro 4000 controllers to preserve architectural integrity while enabling integration with time-and-attendance and PC logical access systems. The solution supports up to 60,000 users and 1,024 user groups, uses low-bandwidth auto-discovery and features timed anti-passback and counting areas—resulting in stronger security, easier maintenance and scalable access management for 4 New Square.
