Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) needed a more flexible, user-centric web platform to support content growth, improve design consistency, and simplify the management of multiple microsites during its Drupal 8 revamp. The corporate communications team also wanted a system that would make content authoring easier while maintaining brand standards and supporting future expansion.

Acquia provided Acquia Cloud Platform, enabling SIT to run a fully managed Drupal multisite architecture on a single codebase. Working with Acquia and its agency partner Pixel Onion, SIT built a design system and a flexible Layout Builder that improved governance and accelerated page creation; as a result, page builds dropped from 1–2 days to less than 30 minutes, while content became more consistent, engaging, and scalable.
