Red Heart, a yarn brand of Coats & Clark, operates a high‑traffic site with hundreds of free patterns and how‑to resources and was ready to expand into the UK and Germany. Progress was stalled by development problems and a Rackspace server misconfigured for Drupal, causing frequent downtime, poor responsiveness, and an inability for teams to work—especially during the important holiday season.

Mediacurrent was hired and, with Acquia, migrated the site to Drupal‑tuned Acquia Cloud, performed code reviews and audits, removed custom scripts that were slowing the site, and ran performance testing and staging.
