A Acquia Case Study
Princeton University needed a more flexible, modern CMS for its broad university web presence, as its previous system was hard to support, difficult to update, and lacked the customization needed by many departments and stakeholders. With Acquia’s help, Princeton looked for a better platform that could support both self-service site creation and more specialized website needs.
Acquia provided a training jump start and architecture plan for Princeton’s move to Drupal, which was then implemented as a Drupal 7 multisite setup with Panopoly. The result was 287 live sites, easier site management for owners, monthly feature releases driven by user feedback, and improved accessibility, support, and communication.
