National Apartment Association Advances Online Strategies to Drive Unified, Cohesive User Experiences

The National Apartment Association (NAA) is a federation of 170 state and local affiliates representing more than 63,000 members and 6.8 million apartment homes. Charged with serving a broad multifamily housing audience, the NAA struggled with an outdated SharePoint CMS and a separate, hard-to-manage community site that limited design control, customization and discoverability for members.

To modernize its digital experience Blue Coda rebuilt NAA’s site on Acquia’s Drupal Commons 3.0, merging the Connect community into the main site, integrating CRM functionality, and improving site management and navigation. The relaunch delivered strong results: overall traffic rose 11.5% year-over-year, unique visitors jumped 34%, pageviews increased 12%, and members reported it’s easier to find content and engage with the community.
