Zurich Insurance Group, a global multi-line insurer with about 60,000 employees, needed a single, scalable platform to roll out and protect a newly developed brand and visual identity across more than 200 countries. The company struggled with a clunky, poorly adopted DAM, siloed local asset practices (often using outdated PDFs), and the risk that launching the new DAM at the same time as the new brand could fail to gain adoption.
Zurich migrated all assets to Acquia DAM, built visual portals, libraries and editable Templates, applied strict user permissions, and integrated with Microsoft Office, Adobe and Sitecore to streamline workflows. The centralized solution improved brand consistency, saved time and agency spend, and drove adoption—21,000 users, 407,000 logins and roughly 1.4 million downloads to date, search time down from 12 to 2 minutes, over 56,000 assets and 150 portals, and an estimated ~75% reduction in cost per user.
