Heaven Hill Brands, the sixth-largest distilled spirits producer in the U.S. with 20+ iconic brands and distribution in 100+ countries, needed a better way for its 182 sales users and distributor network to access approved marketing content. Their previous “dinosaur” workflow—assets on a local server and shared via FTP—only held a subset of files, lacked search, and forced the marketing team to handle time-consuming image requests, hindering sales enablement.

In 2017 Heaven Hill implemented Acquia DAM (Widen)—Assets, Insights, and Portals—with strong implementation support that minimized IT involvement. Portals and dynamic galleries gave sales reps and distributors instant, login-free access to brand-specific assets, while a migration and archive consolidation created one searchable repository. The result: simplified workflows, elimination of the local server (and related storage costs), faster time-to-market for new products, and active usage (14K total assets and 4K uploads in the last 12 months).
