Pega Collects Actionable User Feedback via Surveys

Pegasystems (Pega) is a global software company that uses the Widen Collective as its Pega Digital Asset Hub to store marketing materials, logos, templates, and more. To keep the DAM effective and aligned with user needs, Pega formed a DAM coalition of power users and faced the challenge of gathering actionable feedback to guide improvements in findability, asset types, and training.

Pega implemented regular user surveys (beginning in 2018) to collect qualitative and quantitative insights from coalition members, revealing strong demand for imagery (abstract, event photos, headshots) and training resources. In response they added more targeted imagery, created five imagery sub‑categories, introduced a “Photo style” metadata field with controlled vocabulary, and provided pre‑populated PowerPoint slides; ongoing surveys continue to prioritize updates. These changes made assets easier to find, boosted user engagement and activity, and increased the DAM’s overall value to the organization.
