NKT, a Denmark-headquartered cable supplier serving the energy sector across 14 countries, faced fragmented creative storage that slowed marketing workflows and led to outdated, inconsistent brand assets being used across websites, social channels, and partner materials. With imagery and technical documentation central to their communications, the lack of a single searchable repository created bottlenecks and hurt brand quality.

In 2018 NKT implemented Acquia DAM (Assets, Insights, Portals) to centralize assets, create portals and a brand hub, provide onboarding and training, and integrate the DAM with their Magnolia CMS and automated publication processes. The system enabled searchable, approved-content access and automated embeds, supporting 15M downloads and 5M embed views across 173 countries in the last 12 months. The outcome: consistent messaging, greater reuse and value from existing content, scalable remote workflows, and improved coordination across regional teams and agencies.
