How Varian Saved Thousands of Dollars by Monitoring Content Analytics

Varian, a Fortune 500 provider of radiation oncology software and hardware, uses a DAM system to centralize brand assets during a major rebrand. Sandra De Biasi, Varian’s digital asset project manager, was monitoring adoption across the Americas, APAC and EMEA when she spotted a weekend spike: one vendor had downloaded roughly 1,900 of the 2,200 assets in the system, a likely deliberate breach that put hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of IP at risk.
