Pacific Cycle, owner of brands like Schwinn and Mongoose, needed a better way to collect and leverage authentic user-generated content from social channels. The marketing team’s challenge was ingesting, organizing and sharing large volumes of Instagram photos created by customers in a consistent, secure workflow that could support contests and event coverage.
They solved it by adopting the Widen Media Collective with the Dropbox integration and an IFTTT recipe that auto-imports hashtagged Instagram posts into the DAM. The new workflow made weekly curation simple (powering the #schwinnlocal contest and Mongoose Jam coverage), secured assets for reuse, and boosted social engagement by surfacing real customer moments across marketing channels.
