MINI USA, working with BEAM Interactive, faced the challenge of capturing and organizing a large volume of authentic user‑generated content from an engaged owner community spread across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The brand needed a reliable way to collect images and videos, review submissions, and repurpose that content for campaigns and a public gallery.
BEAM implemented Widen DAM with integrations (IFTTT, Dropbox) and the Widen API to centralize social posts, automate hashtag monitoring, and allow direct video uploads from MINIUSA.com into the DAM for review. The result: a single, organized asset library that streamlined contest submissions, enabled quick repurposing across campaigns, and strengthened audience engagement with authentic customer stories.
