HARMAN International, a global designer of connected audio, visual and automotive products, was struggling to distribute product assets quickly and accurately as the business scaled. With business units, distributors and resellers worldwide relying on a mix of marcomm banks, FTP, Dropbox and manual transfers, teams spent time duplicating uploads and shipping files instead of marketing, while e‑commerce partners needed faster, more structured access to images and product information.

HARMAN implemented a SaaS PIM plus the Widen Collective DAM with a custom API integration so assets are loaded once at the source, automatically linked to product IDs, and pushed to websites and partners in real time. The result is a single source of truth, faster time to market and less manual work for marketers — supported by 174,693 embedded views in the past year, 284,014 asset downloads in 21 months, and asset delivery across 21 languages.
